- Fouters is one of the leading restaurants in Ayr, set in an 18th century bank vault transformed into a bustling basement restaurant. The atmosphere is intimate yet lively.
- Souter Johnnie’s Inn is built on the site of Robert Burns’ old schoolhouse, and features comfortable and homely surroundings with a menu that is traditionally Scottish. There’s also live music with local musicians.
Local beaches
The closest beach is just a 300 metre stroll from the park, and there are many more coastal coves and stretches of sand to find nearby.
Golf holidays
The world-famous Turnberry Golf Club is a draw to the keenest golfers, but there are plenty of other great courses nearby that are well worth a go
